Bosch BCC100 Connected Control Thermostat Setup Guide

Complete setup and programming guide for the Bosch BCC100 WiFi thermostat with app integration and advanced features.

Compatibility & Installation

The BCC100 supports 24VAC systems including gas, oil, electric, and heat pumps.

Steps:

  1. Turn off power at your HVAC system before installation

  4. Power on - the BCC100 automatically launches Initial Setup wizard

  3. Heating Stages: Configure up to 4 stages (heat pump systems)
  4. Accessories: Add humidifier or dehumidifier if equipped
  5. Reversing Valve (heat pumps): Configure O (energized in cool) or B (energized in heat)

  3. Enter password using the on-screen keyboard
  4. Wait for connection confirmation

App Registration

  1. Download Bosch Connected Control app (iOS/Android 4.0.3+)
  2. Create a new account in the app

  4. Find these at: Menu → Device Settings → Wi-Fi Settings → Registration

  1. On Thermostat: Main Menu → Schedule → Select schedule → Setup
  2. Via App: Menu → Schedule → Select Mode → Edit

  4. Creating Schedule: Select day of week, Set starting time (15-min increments), Choose temperature or System Off for each period, Use 'Copy' to duplicate to other days, Save changes

  • The thermostat always runs on a programmed schedule - changing System Mode only affects the current period

Temperature & Mode Control

Steps:

  1. System Modes: Heat (heating only), Cool (cooling only), Auto (automatic heating/cooling), Off (all HVAC off), Em Heat (emergency heat for heat pumps)
  2. Temporary Adjustments: Tap +/− icons to override current setpoint, Override lasts until next scheduled time, Press lock icon to make permanent, Press X to cancel
  3. Temperature Deadband: 5-degree minimum difference between heating/cooling setpoints prevents short cycling

Fan Settings

Configure fan operation modes.

Steps:

  1. Go to Menu → System Settings → Fan Mode
  2. Auto: Fan runs only during heating/cooling calls
  3. On: Fan runs continuously for air circulation
  4. Circulation: Fan cycles on/off based on configured times (customizable)

Advanced Features

Utilize humidity control, alerts, and safety features.

Steps:

  1. Humidity Control: Menu → System Settings → Accessories → Humidifier, Set level 30-90% (default 50%), Activates only during heating calls
  2. Temperature Alerts: Menu → System Settings → Temperature → Alerts, Set Low Temp Monitor (minimum allowed), Set High Temp Monitor (maximum allowed), System forces heat/cool even in Off mode if limits exceeded
  3. Air Filter Reminder: Menu → System Settings → Air Filter, Set days between filter changes, Thermostat sends notification when due
  4. Screen Lock: Menu → Device Settings → Lock Screen, Set 4-digit passcode, Prevents unauthorized changes
